The customer is a Portugal-based IT consulting company founded in 1991 with the objective of offering specialized services in information technology systems in response to actual customer needs. It also focuses on offering technical training and certification to its technicians and specializing them in appropriate areas.

Challenge

Hospitals with traditional systems do not have detailed information about doctors, patients, and their treatments. In fact, their processes have a dependency on paper-based records and thus, they need an advanced solution to maintain patient data such as images, videos, scan copies, etc. securely, and accurately.

The solution comprises the following features:

  • HL7/FHIR integration - By integrating HL7 into patient management applications, healthcare providers can easily share patient data with other providers, regardless of the system they are using. This allows for more efficient communication and collaboration among healthcare providers, which can lead to better patient outcomes.

  • Role-based access control - Quick, easy, and secure easy access control. When logged in with proper credentials, the user gets authenticated and redirected to the home page.

  • Schedules model - In this module, doctors can schedule the appointment of their patients with the date and time and create the exam.

  • Exams module - Exams module contains information about patients and their treatments. It includes images and videos of the treatment that are necessary for the patient, as well as the dosages. In this module, doctor can effortlessly generate the pdf, excel sheet and Hemodynamic reports of the exam.

  • Auxiliary tables module - This module contains various tables such as medicine, equipment, consumables, provenance, diagnostics, reasons, patients, preparations, procedures, rooms, and types of exams. These tables include information about them.

  • Security profiles module This module allows to add new doctors, nurses, and patients and manage their data with ease.
