“The role of a creative leader is not to have all the ideas, it’s to create a culture where everyone can have ideas and feel that they are valued.” - Ken Robinson
iFour Technolab held an excellent .Net Core 3.0 Meetup event on 8th June 2019, Saturday. As we all know .NET core is an open source, cross platform and successor of .NET Framework. The project is mainly developed by Microsoft and one of the most popular software development instruments today. It was initially released in June 2016 and received warm commendation from the many custom software development companies.
The main aim of this meetup was to demystify this emerging Technology by organising the latest tech stack talks. We had announced this meetup on the website of meetup.com and Eventbrite.com one month prior and asked all Techies to register. Surprisingly the response was so good from the day one. All thanks to this new prominent topic.
The event started with a bright sunny morning at 10:00 AM, welcoming our Speakers and wonderful participants. We had a combine audience of an experienced developers, managers and freshers. No fees were charged from the participants. There were total 3 developers as a presenter for the meetup who have a thorough knowledge on this Technology and are working on a live project in .NET core.
Our employees and associates had actively participated and volunteered for this event. There were around 35 participants. It was started with wonderful introduction speech given by our employee followed by a short round of participant’s introduction. Subsequently the actual presentation began. One of our Speakers gave an introduction on .NET core technology and talked about its evolution. This was quite Interactive and lively session. Guests were served with tea and snacks amid the presentation.
Our speakers gave their insights on Technical aspects of .NET core 3.0 which was followed by a live demo presentation. All the queries & doubts of the Participants were addressed by our speakers. Post this demo, our presenters talked about some of the real time examples and explained the pros and cons of this technology.
The session ended at around 12.00 PM and all the guests were requested to handover the feedback form. Big thanks to the participants and our speakers who held an informative and engaging session.
We will back with many more astonishing meetup events!!
